St. Pete Athletic is rolling out their table tennis initiatives so join in the fun!

Weekly open play sessions with coaching instruction and beginner group classes starting now.

Here is the current weekly schedule. Check the SPA app for updated session info and sign-ups.

Current table tennis schedule (May to June 2026)

Monday - Open Play 9 AM - 11 AM

Tuesday - Table Tennis Tuesday 5 PM - 7 PM (FYI: Starts a little late and runs later...)

Thursday - Intro Class 6 PM - 7 PM, Coach-led Open Play 7 PM - 9 PM

Friday - Coach-led Open Play 11 AM - 1 PM

Upcoming: 5/28, 5/29, 6/1, 6/2, 6/4, 6/5, 6/8, 6/9, 6/11, 6/12, [Week off - MLP], 6/22, 6/23, 6/25

You can also visit SPA and play outside of these times in the normal playing areas (Turf area near pickleball and padel courts, or the tables next to the cafe and restaurant - Great food and drinks!)

I’m Page Harris, a USATT-certified table tennis coach and experienced player. Over the past five years, I’ve developed players alongside coach Gary Fraiman, helping them progress from foundational skills to competitive play.

Having transitioned from a casual ping pong background to dedicated table tennis nearly a decade ago, I understand the challenges of learning this complex game later in life. I specialize in working with beginners and intermediate players, offering a structured, supportive approach that makes the game both accessible and rewarding.

My competitive experience includes multiple local tournament wins and a semifinal finish in the Adult U1700 event at the 2024 US Open, where I competed against a large international field with a variety of playing styles. This experience shapes my coaching, combining strong fundamentals with practical match-play strategy.

Whether you’re new to the sport or looking to continue improving, I offer personalized coaching tailored to your goals. Sessions can focus on fundamentals, footwork, tactics, or guided match play. I also work with more advanced players as a practice and sparring partner.

Table tennis is a lifelong sport that sharpens both body and mind. I look forward to helping you enjoy the game to its fullest!
